A local sales and manufacturing organisation specialising in marine electronics have recently implemented a new telephone system that integrates with their LAN.
Utilising an Argent Office based system, users can now initiate outbound calls directly from their contact management system which is based on a customised Filemaker application.
Not only can the system initiate calls directly from the database but users can opt to connect to their contacts utilising Skype/SkypeOut.
With a single telephone handset, calls can be placed over the traditional telephone network or via VOIP resulting in reduced call costs and improved functionality.
